Mrs. Feig's 3rd Grade Reading Class

Welcome !!!

Wow!! it is finally spring--not that we would recognize it with the cold rainy weather. It is hard to believe that it is already the end of March--next week is Easter break. Then we return to school with only a few weeks until the end of the year.

We have been very busy in my third grade reading class this year. We have enjoyed some great books together. The Chocolate Touch, by Patrick Skene Catling, Skinnybones, by Barbara Park, and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, by Judy Blume. We are currently reading Because of Winn Dixie, by Kate DiCamillo. It is an awesome book, a Newbery Award winner and a hard book to put down. The kids are loving it, and that is a great thing!!

It's been a wonderful year, and as always, thanks for allowing me the opportunity of reading with your students!

Please encourage them to keep reading through the summer--there are some wonderful books out there to read, and the Centralia Library is a great place to hang out during the hot summer days.
